During my time as NYSC intern at my Primary Place of Assignment, I was tasked with researching and writing various policies that I later briefed to the concerned departments through presentations and memorandums. I took on the role of a backup for senior colleagues while rendering assistance where necessary. I was involved in administrative system of my department, responsible for encouraging best practice, and providing my team with daily support. I also provided meaningful data that helped the department to make strategic and data-driven decisions, collected and analyzed information specific to the department, recommended alternatives. I was also involved in the preparation of the annual budget which is one of the primary functions of Planning, Budget, Research and Statistics Department.
